Good Cloning programs.... I am currently using Acronis, but I always have to run other programs to clean up the messes..Like HDAT2 and Partion Majic. It seems like an easy fix. When using it I miss the scrolling sector display and live statistics like that on DE. A scrolling display would be ideal. When I run my favorite radar application GR Level 3 when booted directly into XP, it works flawlessly. When I load the BC partion via Parallels however, GR won't display the radar. I know the radar image is smoothed with 3D support of some kind. I thought Parallels 3, having 3D support, would be able to handle this.I know this an obscure program, but I'd appreciate if anyone has anything to try. Probably not going to work. Parallels DirectX support isn't complete, and it does not support DirectX 9 yet. To quote from the GR Level 3 website:GRLevel3 uses your graphics hardware more than most applications. A possible scenario: at some time, MR could make some changes into this partition and rely on them during its next restores. But if I in the meantime restore HBS's System Backup made much earlier, such MR's partition could be overwritten and returned to its state that does not correspond with MR's latest and expected setting.But is it OK in HBS to bypass this MR's partition and just backup the partition with drive C? Has anybody tested this? My inclination is not to make backup of this partion, hence not to use the offered HBS's System Backup, but rather go for Partition C backup only.
