Closures and is currently back online and free for all with players tweaking its source code.5. Nexus: The Kingdom of the Winds (1996) It's important not to overlook Asia's involvement in MMOs in the '90s because when this region started cranking them out, they drew in numbers like never before. Nexus was one of the first significant Korean titles, developed by a certain Jake Song. Yes, that Jake Song. The game had an intricate social system and ran up record concurrencies within the first couple of years of operation.6. Ultima Online (1997) When Ultima Online debuted in 1997, it instantly became the king of the MMO mountain. Drawing from a rich RPG legacy and the hard-working talents of Origin Systems, this sandbox title blew gamers away with the possibilities and options available in an online fantasy realm. Sure, it had problems, not the least of which was the rash of player killing and rampant bugs, but it became the first MMO to garner a truly sizable audience and put this type of game on the radar of both players and the gaming industry.7. Tibia (1997) This German MMO had a slow start in the '90s, but the 2000s saw it explode in popularity and function. While everyone else was making client-based subscription MMOs, the team behind Tibia decided to embrace a free-to-play model and put this 2-D isometric game fully inside a browser. Tibia's still going strong today with thousands (or even hundreds of thousands) playing it. Not bad for

Downloaded the game, I didn’t expect the level of quality and passion the game seemed to have put in it. For an MMO the world building, voice acting, and story is incredible. Nexus War is your classic kingdom building and alliance game, however the level of detail from every step truly makes the game feel alive. The alliance systems are very well done, the general gameplay feels rewarding and keeps you captivated, The game gives you plenty of ways to acquire premium currency, and for a game that’s only begun it’s life cycle, it has had a great launch and a promising future. Nexus War is a game made with quality and passion in mind. I really believe that most can attest that from the game itself. For those reasons, Nexus War is a 5/5 for me. Thank you very much for your support. Your enthusiasm for our game is what motivates us to constantly improve. If you have any issues or have any suggestions related to the game, feel free to contact the in-game GM or reach us on Discord, FB or mailbox: support.nexuswar@phantixgames.com. We hope you enjoy the game! Is your flying boat big enough? Nexus War contains gameplay similar to the average strategy game. The defining factor is your flying boat used to represent squads. Fighting enemies on the map is pretty standard. The most jarring gameplay shows when farming other players. While defending, troops will only fight for their home if they get a ticket to the flying boat. If they do not get a seat on the boat, they take the day off and watch the city burn. It is amusing to attack a player with twice as many troops as you but they did not upgrade a hero, stationed on the boat, enough to strengthen the size of their squad. This allows you to keep funneling attacks because the number of troops on the defending flying boat do not increase and your victory is guaranteed every attack. As long as your flying boat is bigger than the defenders, you can farm the defender all day. Have not seen a reliable way around this and it becomes pretty telling when you get big enough to wipe out entire clans whose flying boats are not big enough combined to meet the size of your cooler, larger flying boat. Very strange defense mechanic but I just throw. And well-known template for what we now call the Asian grinder, a game in which repetitive action doesn’t supplement other types of gameplay — it is the gameplay. There’s been a lot of backlash against this type of MMO, of course, and players looking to take a new import down a few notches are quick to slap it with the “Asian grinder” label.Yet despite this, it proved a successful formula, and with huge success come imitators. World of Warcraft wasn’t the only MMO that other companies have tried to replicate in the hopes of recapturing that lightning strike of success. Lineage’s booming popularity resulted in a tidal wave of so-called “Lineage clones” that flooded the market with similar designs, looks and addictive hooks. When asked about how he felt about these clones, Tack Jin Kim said that it was a compliment of sorts: “When I see Lineage-like products, I think that’s, well, honoring NCsoft — something like that! We are pleased to give other developers some impact, some impressions to help make their games better or more fun.”Made for a song by a SongIn the pantheon of MMO game developers, Jake Song (Song Jae-kyeong) is somewhere near the top tier. Song was the lead designer and programmer for Lineage and has also worked on Nexus: The Kingdom of the Winds, Aion and Tabula Rasa. In 2003, Song left NCsoft to form his own studio called XLGAMES. That studio’s first MMO, ArcheAge, became another smash hit and riled up fans worldwide to play a full-featured fantasy sandbox.Yet the truth of the matter is that for as great a success as Lineage was globally, it never penetrated the North American market the way NCsoft hoped. Despite NCsoft hiring brothers Robert and Richard Garriott to give the company credence in the US, western gamers

Good fruit. 19Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. The House on the Rock(Luke 6:46-49)24Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. The Authority of Jesus28And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: 29For he taught them as [one] having authority, and not as the scribes..
