I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas! On Christmas Day I presented a tour of The Garlic Tree decked out for the festive proceedings. Such a tour is something I like to post for the special events, but this Christmas I also wanted to do something a little different.Today I'd like to offer a peek at the delightful designs some of my neighbours have come up with this season. In particular I've picked out five players (and that in itself was hard work!) who have not only been loyal to me in the game but have also been excellent contributors to the blog.So without any further ado, let's take a look, and I do encourage you to click on the images for enlarged versions!We start at the home of my first regular blog contributor, Fat Bear.Far BearFat Bear has been my neighbour for longer than most, and has provided some excellent insight on the blog, particularly with regards to newly released boxes.Fat Bear's restaurant of the same name has a number of paths for the bots which weave their way through a wild forest full of nice little details. The areas towards the bottom are around all year round, including the futuristic zone which houses the Digital Solar System and Holographic Food Shelf.But it's the outdoor section I'd like to home in on to take a closer look.Wild section of Fat BearThere are many Fallen Trees have been placed to create the feel of a wood, and all manner of items tucked away among them. There are several White Christmas Trees positioned to get that Christmassy atmosphere through, and perhaps they help light the way for any customers who get lost in the woods! Neighbours may be the people who live closest to us, but we can easily go months without seeing them. So after a long summer of not seeing neighbours around the block, it’s nice to send a warm greeting for the holiday season. Aug 21, 2019 6 0 10 #1 So I've looked for a few hours without finding anything that's helped me with this... here goes. I bought the Netgear AC1200 WiFi USB Adapter (Model number A6150) today, because I wanted to connect to my home's 5GHz wifi network. I've been using the 2.4GHz, which gets interrupted whenever someone turns on the microwave, and apparently 5GHz doesn't get interrupted. So I had to buy this for the dual-band capability. It specifically said "Works with any WiFi Router" on the box, so I figured it would be safest to get this. Anyway, I get it, I install the drivers for it to work, and immediately, it sees the 5GHz network and works perfectly, data speeds are perfect, everything is great. But about 1 minute in, it just drops everything completely. It can't see my 5GHz, 2.4GHz, or any of the neighbours' networks. I used the network reset button on windows, which said it would reinstall the adapter. After resetting the computer, the adapter worked again, but it can't see the 5GHz signal. Strangely, I think it sees my neighbours' 5GHz networks, though, unless they're named really weirdly. Here's the wifi settings, I'm looking for D-Link 2888A 5GHz. I just don't know what else to do.So it's not a distance thing, I'm very close to the router and it could see the 5GHz network beforehand, it also might not even be a 5GHz thing, as I can see neighbouring 5GHz channels. It's not the actual 5GHz network, I've reset the router and I can connect to it just fine with my phone... I have no idea what's causing this. Please help!
