Keira Knightley looked to the runway for inspiration for her look on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Monday in New York City. The Oscar-nominated actress chatted with the eponymous host about her new series “Black Doves,” for which she was recently nominated for a Golden Globe award. Knightley opted for a look courtesy of Valentino‘s spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection. The long-sleeve midi dress featured a silk black fabric with sheer fabric elements at the hem of the dress’ skirt. A standout element of the dress, however, was the exaggerated collar, which featured a rounded design with embroidered orange flowers against the black fabric, creating a stark color contrast. Her bobbed hair was styled with natural waves and her makeup featured a clean aesthetic, save for a smokey eye and glossy lip. It’s like you are a guest, so you need to do a deep dive. I went through the things, all the little details, the ruffles, the bows, the polka dots, the colors, the embroideries, the embellishment, also the synthesis that he did in a very opulent way in just one dress,” Michele said. Knightley’s “Black Doves” is now available on Netflix.
