Image via Berserk Studio. | Published: Feb 17, 2022 07:42 am There are a lot of retro-styled games that are coming out these days, and ones that are universally loved such as the Undertale franchise or Omori. One of such games is Infernax, a 2D side-scrolling shoot-em-up that is known for being infamously tough. Even though Infernax is a notoriously difficult game, it offers players some neat cheat codes which you can use to lighten the player experience for yourself. Not all codes are meant to make the game easier, however, as some of them also exist to hit you with a blast of nostalgia. One of these codes is the Contra Konami code, and if you want to know how to use the Contra Konami code in Infernax, then this guide is for you. Read on ahead to find out! How to Use Contra Konami Code in Infernax The Contra Konami code is one of the cheat codes that exist for the game, which turns Infernax into the classic 1987 NES title, Contra; which funnily enough, shares a lot of similarities with Infernax. The Contra Konami code is as follows: up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, start. Fun fact: this is the very same code used for the original Contra title as its cheat code as well. If you are playing Infernax on the PS5, then you probably don’t possess the A and B buttons on your controller, and so the Contra Konami is a little different: up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, O, X. Once you’ve entered this code, you will start the game with 30 lives, a machine gun, and a cool new jump!

A Collection of Infernax Secrets so far… Infernax is a great game for those into retro titles, with simple but fun gameplay, pixelated gore, and lots of secrets and references to uncover. It features several endings but one of the best aspects of the game is the Game Wizard cheat code system that’s modeled after the classic NES Game Genie. This quick guide will detail where to find the Game Wizard menu, as well as collect the codes we’re aware of. Additionally, we’ll be sharing how to play as the various character classes. Note that the developers have shown interest in trickling out codes to various sources so if there’s one we missed please let us know on social media or the comment section of this article. Aside from entering cheat codes, there are also additional character classes that can be used by entering specific names into the game’s starting screen. There’s also a button input code that hearkens back to an iconic cheat code of the NES era. These characters will be detailed below. We also recently reviewed Infernax and published an older interview with Hunter Bond of Berzerk Studio. Where to Find the Game WizardStarting from the main town of Darsov, move to the far east (to the right) into the Tohan Passage. You will encounter a man who becomes a werewolf if traveling through here at night. You will need the Skycall ability attained in the dungeon of Stormheim Shore, which requires the Thunderstorm spell to open the dungeon’s entrance. To the right of the werewolf boss battle is a cave to the Backer Mausoleum, a collection of notes from crowd-source funding backers. Going to the far right once again leads to a book that opens the Game Wizard. It is recommended that one put in at least one cheat code here, as this will allow the player to access the menu from save shrines. Putting in a code creates a toggle for the function in the Code List. Some codes are not compatible with one another. Most codes are revealed in-game through the Inferno Power books in the game’s library gained through achieving certain endings. This character is a ton of fun but does make almost every boss fight a cakewalk, so it’s best to play with this class after finishing the core game at least once. I Commands This chapter describes the Cisco NX-OS virtual port channel (vPC) commands that begin with I. import interface To import an interface configuration to a switch profile, use the import interface command. import interface { ethernet slot / port | port-channel channel-no } Syntax Description ethernet Specifies the Ethernet interface configuration to import to the switch profile. slot / port Chassis or slot number and the port or slot number. The slot can be from 1 to 255 and the port can be from 1 to 128. port-channel Specifies the EtherChannel interface configuration to import to the switch profile. channel-no EtherChannel number. The range is from 1 to 4096. Command Default None Command Modes Switch profile configuration mode Command History Release Modification 5.0(2)N1(1) This command was introduced. Usage Guidelines When no option is specified with the import command, an empty switch profile is created. You can then selectively add the configuration that is needed to be synchronized with the peer switch. You can import a switch profile based on the set of commands that you want to import. The following three ways can be used to import commands that were added using the configuration terminal mode: 1. Add selected commands to the switch profile. 2. Add supported commands that were specified for an interface. 3. Add supported system-level commands. When you import commands to a switch profile, the switch profile buffer must be empty. Use the commit command to complete the import process and move the configuration into the switch profile. Because configuration changes are not supported during the import process, if new commands are added before entering the commit command, the switch profile remains unsaved and the switch remains in the switch profile import mode (config-sync-sp-import). You can remove the added commands or use the abort command to stop the import. Unsaved configurations are lost if the process is aborted. New commands can be added to the switch profile after the import is complete. Examples This example shows how to import the Ethernet interface configuration to a switch profile named s5010 on switch 1 of the peer: switch# config sync Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z. switch(config-sync)# switch-profile s5010 Switch-Profile started, Profile ID is 1 switch(config-sync-sp)# show switch-profile s5010 buffer switch-profile : s5010 ---------------------------------------------------------- Seq-no Command ---------------------------------------------------------- switch(config-sync-sp)# import interface ethernet 1/1 switch(config-sync-sp)# show switch-profile buffer switch-profile : s5010 ---------------------------------------------------------- Seq-no Command ---------------------------------------------------------- 1 interface Ethernet1/1 switch(config-sync-sp-import)# commit Verification successful... Proceeding to apply configuration. This might take a while depending on amount o f configuration in buffer. Please avoid other configuration changes during this time. Commit Successful switch(config-sync)# This example shows how to create an empty switch profile named sp100 on switch 1 of the peer and then add the configuration commands: switch# config sync Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z. switch(config-sync)# switch-profile sp100 Switch-Profile started, Profile ID is 1 switch(config-sync-sp)# show switch-profile sp100 buffer switch-profile : sp100 ---------------------------------------------------------- Seq-no Command ---------------------------------------------------------- switch(config-sync-sp)# import switch(config-sync-sp-import)# interface port-channel 100 switch(config-sync-sp-import-if)# switchport mode trunk. To Switch B over link L1 and to Switch C over link L2. The Layer 2 interface on Switch C that connects directly to Switch B is in the blocking state. Figure 11. BackboneFast Example After Indirect Link Failure. If link L1 fails, Switch C cannot detect this failure because it is not connected directly to link L1. However, because Switch B is directly connected to the root switch over L1, it detects the failure, elects itself the root, and begins sending BPDUs to Switch C, identifying itself as the root. When Switch C receives the inferior BPDUs from Switch B, Switch C assumes that an indirect failure has occurred. At that point, BackboneFast allows the blocked interface on Switch C to move immediately to the listening state without waiting for the maximum aging time for the interface to expire. BackboneFast then transitions the Layer 2 interface on Switch C to the forwarding state, providing a path from Switch B to Switch A. The root-switch election takes approximately 30 seconds, twice the Forward Delay time if the default Forward Delay time of 15 seconds is set. BackboneFast reconfigures the topology to account for the failure of link L1. Figure 12. Adding a Switch in a Shared-Medium Topology. If a new switch is introduced into a shared-medium topology, BackboneFast is not activated because the inferior BPDUs did not come from the recognized designated switch (Switch B). The new switch begins sending inferior BPDUs that indicate it is the root switch. However, the other switches ignore these inferior BPDUs, and the new switch learns that Switch B is the designated switch to Switch A, the root switch. EtherChannel Guard You can use EtherChannel guard to detect an EtherChannel misconfiguration between the switch and a connected device. A misconfiguration can occur if the switch interfaces are configured in an EtherChannel, but the interfaces on the other device are not. A misconfiguration can also occur if the channel parameters are not the same at both ends of the EtherChannel. If the switch detects a misconfiguration on the other device, EtherChannel guard places the switch.
