5. Use Apple Image Capture Open Image Capture from Applications. Select your HP 8620 from the list. Try scanning a document.6. Check for HP Scan Driver Open HP Smart (if installed) → Printer Settings. Look for an option to enable or reinstall the HP Scan driver.7. Reset the Printing System (Last Resort) Go to System Settings → Printers & Scanners. Right-click on the printer list and select Reset Printing System. This will remove all printers; re-add your HP 8620 afterward.If none of this work, the issue may be with HP’s driver compatibility with macOS 15.3, and you may need to wait for an updated HP driver. I am not a hi tec person and have followed the guide lines.
