Por otro lado es una suite ofimática compatible con Microsoft Office.En esta ocasion voy a hablar de Documents to Go premium, un software con muchos detalles y funcionalidades similares, aunque con algunas diferencias importantes.Empezare recalcando una vez mas el tema de ofimática, al igual que su competidor, conviene dejar claro que es una suite para salir del paso, que nadie se espere una competencia directa al office de escritorio, ni tampoco un equivalente a las Apps de iWork de Apple. Documents to Go sirve para lo que sirve, para documentos sencillos o modificaciones rápidas de alguno existente, pero no es comparable a una suite de escritorio ni tampoco lo pretende.Antes de continuar hablare de las versiones disponibles, una ventaja muy importante de Documents to Go es que es universal por lo que pagando la aplicación podremos disfrutar de ella tanto en el iPad como en el iPhone o iPod Touch. Asi mismo hay 2 versiones, la Premium cuesta 13,99€ y hay una inferior llamada «Office Suite» por 7,99€, en ambos casos es universal (funciona en iPad y iPhone/iPod Touch, siendo la principal ventaja de la version premium la posibilidad de acceder a ficheros en la nube como Dropbox y la posibilidad de editar documentos en Powerpoint, por lo que si no necesitáis de estas funcionalidades por 7,99€ tenéis un producto muy apetecible.Una de las características principales de Documents to Go es la posibilidad de acceder a su contenido desde un PC o MAC de diversas formas, conectándolo a una red Wifi podremos disfrutar de unas de esas cosas que marcan la diferencia con la competencia, y es que gracias al softtware Documents to Go Desktop, totalmente gratuito, podremos sincronizar archivos o carpetas entre nuestros dispositivos y el escritorio. Para ello solo tendremos que indicar que carpetas o documentos queremos sincronizar, y con un simple clic se llevara a cabo dicha sincronización, pudiendo haber cambiado cualquier cosa tanto en el escritorio como en el dispositivo movil. Esto hará honor a su nombre y nos permitira literalmente elegir que documentos queremos llevar sin tener que preocuparnos donde estan, siempre que sincronizaremos tendremos todo correcto.Ademas en la version premium tendremos acceso a nuestros documentos en la nube, haciendo aun mas efectiva esa sincronización aunque en este caso con la pega de no contar con el archivo en local y tener que descargarlo la primera vez que vayamos a usarlo (se guarda en cache para las siguientes ocasiones).
