However, there are times when floating walls are unnecessary and some elbow grease is all that’s needed.Backyard roller coasters are a great way to get kids outside, having fun and burning off some energy. You don’t have to spend thousands of dollars on a large commercial ride to get the same thrill. You could build your own mini backyard roller coaster with some plywood, wood screws and other simple supplies. The best part is that you can use it over and over again.If you’ve ever wanted to ride a roller coaster but didn’t want to wait in line for hours at an amusement park, then building your own mini backyard roller coaster is the next best thing. After looking at several different options we decided on one called the “Rockin’ Tugboat Coaster.” This coaster had enough curves and drops that would make it fun for everyone in our family including the adults.
