For conversion, it appears that one needs to pay for the $96 TVSuite H.264 version. Actually, it seems like they force you to buy the $96 one just to open *.wtv files, though one could use the converter built-in to Windows to convert from *.wtv to *.dvr-ms to deal with that. Like I said, I'm fine with manually splicing the video to get exactly what I want. The DVD authoring functionality wouldn't be something that I need at all, so I think it's overpriced for its functionality. Add bookmark #8 I use MC-TVConverter to convert .wtv files to .ts file. I edit the commercials out in SpiritOn Sniper (TSSniper) and export to a new .ts file which I compress with Handbrake.I have also used VLC media player's convert feature to convert from .wtv to .ts, which seems to work much faster. I haven't tested it enough to know if it works as reliably as MC-TVConverter.

Die Bitraten sind unterhalb der unter den Transkodierungsformaten genannten 11M. Genutzte Player, bei denen das Problem auffiel: Cyberlink SoftDMA, ACEPlayer und weitere auf dem iPad. Mal eine direkte Frage zu "ich kann die Probleme nicht nachvollziehen.": Kann ich also davon ausgehen, dass es grundsätzlich bei Euren Testsystemen mit WTV inkl. Transkodierung klappt ? Die Trial wäre eine Möglichkeit (gewesen), aber genau das Feature "Heimnetzwerk" fehlt darin, oder habe ich das der Beschreibung falsch entnommen ? Der Support hat das ganze übrigens als "Wiedergabe schlägt fehl" aufgenommen...ist das ein "Pauschalbetreff", oder kann ich davon ausgehen, dass der fast nur redende Mitarbeiter nicht verstanden hat, was ich eigentlich will ?
